 Sigh. *George*
« Thread Started on Apr 10, 2007, 3:42pm »

Ryder sighed to himself as he left the Principals office. He'd been sent there to give him a letter from a female teacher who, according to young Ryder, had the most monster crush upon him. Ryder just couldn't hack it. Why did he have to pass teachers love letters across? The head said he'd call him back once he'd wrote his letter for her - or no, 'note'. So for now, Ryder was stuck outside, sitting on the seat which so many other people had previously sat.

"La, la, la, la, la," he sang to himself, "La, da, la." It was a song with a forever changing tune and pitch. He slammed his head back agaisnt the wall in frustation.

George chewed his lip as he scuffed his feet along the corridors. He was barely ever in trouble at school, he was usually polite and calm and well behaved so the teachers rarely had any need to tell him off. That was, a large percentage of teachers. One of the minority of that percentage was his dance teacher, who only five minutes ago had, in Georges own words, almost exploded with rage. Apparently she hadn't received the notice that George had been ill, he didn't believe her at all. He knew she had received it, yet chose to ignore it. Hence the fact that she had insisted he stay behind every evening that week to catch up on everything he had missed. It wasn't in his nature to shout back. But he had. Hence the reason he was now dragging his feet towards the Head's office.

He sighed dramatically ready to snap at whatever jerk was singing so happily. "Will you just shut-" he lifted his head and saw Ryder, ceasing his shouting he smiled. "Well, hello stranger." he ran a hand through his hair self consciously.

Ryder looked up at the sight of George. He raised an eyebrow to his shouting and then calming down. Ryder had really liked George but he hadn't seen him in ages. And now he didn't know how he felt. Apart from slightly used. What if George was just playing him? Playing him like he played all the other boys who liked him? Was he really even gay? What if he was straight and just playing everyone?

"Hi," he said standing up, slightly cold. "Where have you been? My hair's been through about 3 different colours and through that time, you haven't even been here." he said, referring to the dark hair he had previous, his natural blonde hair... and again, his natural blonde hair. But three sounded more dramatic than one.

"You didn't call or anything, George, I'm... I'm not happy with you." he stated, with a nod of his head. "Why are you even here? You're too... George like to be sent here." he softened as he looked at George's eyes. They were so George like. Everything about him was George like. "I thought you like disapeared off the face of the planet or something." he sighed as he took a step closer to him. Ryder looked to the ground, a nervous look. "Hey... answer me honestly, where you just playing me?"

He had to know. What if George was? Then his confidence with men would just shoot right, right down. He sighed again.

George grinned and held his hands out openly in front of him, "Hey kid, calm down," he smiled as Ryder began to rant, waiting until he was completely finished George stated. "I'm sorry I've not been around. I've been pretty much bed bound the last few weeks. I had a really awful bout of the flu and my parents and the doctor wouldn't let me leave the house..." he shifted awkwardly, "And... well, I couldn't text you or call you because-" he chuckled, "You never gave me your number."

He frowned as Ryder asked about his reason for being at the Head's office and replied moodily, "That bitch of a dance teacher- she wound me up." he left it at that. He figured Ryder knew what it was like when teachers pushed you too far. "What about you? You were looking oddly happy until I turned up."

He opened his mouth in astonishment, "What?!" he suppressed a snort of laughter, "Are you kidding me? Ryder-" he put a hand on the boys shoulder but moved it away again, unsure if Ryder even wanted physical contact with him. "I'm crazy about you..." he felt his cheeks burn.

Ryder listened as George spoke, lowering his guard slightly as he heard the cause. Well if he was bad, he could hardly not speak to him for it. That wasn't fair. He started to get a bit worried though. What if George was still unwell, or dying? "Well are you okay now? I'm not gonna catch anything if I'm just standing here, right?" he asked, as he played it cool. George was George and he didn't want to come on too strong if nothing was there. "Sorry about that, I guess I better give you my number sometime."

He nodded his head in understandment as George spoke of the dance teacher. Dance teachers were either wacky or strict. It was like if you couldn't do something, they'd scream, send you out and force you to do it after school. You wouldn't be able to leave until you passed. It really annoyed him. "Teachers are using me to send love letters," he explained with a roll of his eyes.

When George said his final words, Ryder felt his whole world spark up. He felt himself pay attention. He felt his throat crack and the butterflies in his stomach dance. They were really into the dancing scene, it appeared. He felt an anxiety and a nervousness, yet a happyness. "That's certainly better than I expected," he murmered softly, "I, wow..." His smiled a bit dorkishly and looked up to George again. Ryder shifted towards him, and planted his lips on Georges. He kissed him with a passion, but gently. He was slightly holding back from a pure full on kiss. He was slightly fearful, despite George's words, of rejection. If George turned him down, he didn't know what he'd do. "I've missed you," Ryder murmered as he parted his lips, but still kept close. He wrapped his arms around George's waist and felt his back. Ryder loved backs. All special. George had a nice back.
