The Bench. (Hayd + Open) « Thread Started on May 18, 2007, 11:14pm »
Ryan sat on a bench, holding his baby boy in his arms. The boy was called Jump. A simple, four lettered name, yet unique and odd. But beautiful in its own way. He looked down at the baby and smiled sweetly. How could this beautiful baby belong to him? How could he have created it? Yet still, he hadn't told his family. How could he? It wouldn't go down very well, 'oh dad, by the way, I sort of have a son'. But he did need to know, so did his brothers. It was unfair not to tell them. And he was planning on it but he just didn't know how to just yet. He didn't know if he'd break their hearts or make their day. But Jump was all that he needed. Maybe if he took Jump with him, they could fall in love with the baby, just like he had.
"Jumpy - Jumpy - Jump. That's your new name." he grinned widely, "Do you like it?" Ryan had been a bit lax in the hair department since the birth of young Jump. He hadn't had it cut in quite a while and a tiny inch, or maybe two, hung in a ponytail at the back, tied with an elastic band. But he didn't care, he'd get it cut later. And as far as Ryan was concerned, he really didn't mind it.

Hayden carried Indie, he hated pushing a pushchair it waas the least manly thing to do. He needed to get out and think. He needed to spend time with his kids before... well before his treatment. Meli had insisted of having Audrey, she seemed to be keeping out of his way since the suggestions of the threesome.
He saw Ryan, he was with a baby. Rumour has it he was the father to Ruby's baby. Hayden needed to call her, see if she was okay. But if the rumour was true, maybe he should see the baby. Maybe he should see how Ryan was, he remembered when he found out he was going to be a dad. He was scared to death. He sat down next to the new father.
Silence over come them, before Hayden spoke. "CUte kid. This is Indie." he stated, introducing his child to Ryan. "INdie meet Ryan." He smiled, "What's your kid called? How are you anyway?" He questioned, "Must have been a shock."

Ryan glanced up as he spied Hayden and his son. It was so wierd, like the school was a congregation of fathers and mothers. He smiled at Indi and Hayden, but felt slightly odd. The last time he'd spoke to Hayden, he'd been insulting him and burning him... then crying with him. "Hi, Indi." he said quietly to the baby. He glanced back to Jump. He was so much smaller. Babies grew quick, he suposed. "He's called Jump... it's kinda random, but whatever," he shrugged, thinking over the next question. How was he? Did Hayden honestly expect him to really know?
"Well I'm okay, I guess. Things are wierd, I'm adjusting though." He indicated with his eyes towards a patch which stuck happily on to his arms. "I'm giving up smoking, I figured I'd have to. Hmm, you know my brother though. Rydz doesn't know," he admitted. "I'm not sure how to tell him, or my dad... I mean when she got pregnant, I knew but I refused to believe it. I guess I tried to ignore it, like it would go away. Obviously it didn't and I dunno... I think my dad will kill me. Literally murder me." He looked down at his son however and the thoughts of what his dad would do didn't really matter that much. He now had a purpose and that was to keep the baby well, happy, alive, give it a good life.
"Where's your girlfriend at anyways? Are you and Ryder friends yet? Ryd seems to be turning into his usual self now, I've noticed. Though a big change is he's going off quorn." he laughed slightly, "I think he's wanting to start to eat propper meals. I think he's ordered a recipe book and stuff like that. Makes sense, quorn's a load of rubbish anyways. I think he felt betrayed when he realised that the processed shit actually does help people gain weight. Mind meat makes you gain more, so whatever, he can do what he likes." Ryan shrugged as he thought of his little brother. Ryder was so unique, so fabulous, he loved him to bits. "I think if Ryder found out about Jump he'd want him to be a vegan and knowing him as I do, I think he'd probably get his way whether I give him permission or not. It's funny though, coz Ryd'z isn't a vegan himself, so I dunno why he wants future generations to be. Hmm, I'm glad I'm not his son. You can imagine Ryder being a dad, can't you, having scheduled work out sessions and cooking lessons of how to make quorn." He joked.
